Kolter Solutions is seeking a .NET Developer
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Job Description: Support manufacturing and customer facing web portal systems, building on existing modules along with creating new functional components within the deployment platform.
Duties will also include working closely with project shareholders to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement software solutions. The position also supports the design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide application systems using languages and platforms including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Java, JSP, JSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Linq, HTML 5, .NET Core, .NET/RestAPI, Entity Framework6, .NET Web API, Classic Windows Form/WPF, C# Blazor, XML, and XSLT
Maintenance and upgrades to existing systems are included in the job duties for this position, along with interfacing with customer, vendor, and management stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Work closely with functional and business team members, project management, enterprise architects, system engineers, and application developers to design and develop enterprise applications based on approved architecture and business requirements
Demonstrate innovation when designing applications and solving complex IT problems
Provide expertise and leadership for software solutions including architecture, design, requirements analysis, development, quality assurance and implementation
Effectively scope project subtasks into scheduled work units
Ensure solutions are well-engineered, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, and quality assurance processes
Work with IT project management to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
Five or more years of education and/or relevant work experience
Experience in programming languages, frameworks, and tools such as: C#, .NET Web API, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, JSS, , JQuery, Linq, SQL and Git version control
Experience modern web development.
Comfortable in various IDEs including visual studio and visual studio code
Familiar with the RESTful API
Familiar with the relational database model and has a foundational knowledge of stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Familiar with microservice architecture is a plus
Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment
Experience with ITIL processes and agile development practices is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum SW Development Methodology
