Form of workThe Strategic Contracting Analyst will provide analytical, contracting and penetrate-sales support, assist with developing a strategy for business ownership growth, and support other activities of the contracting team.
Position Reports to Regional Managing Director
This is a remote, work-from-home role with some travel. The preferred location is California or Colorado.
COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $57,719 to $95,236 depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide analytical reports and sales support for business ownership growth.
- Collaborate with service or other contract category suppliers to identify sales leads.
- Coordinate with target service suppliers to coordinate customer sales meetings, track meeting results, and to grow individual contract spend.
- Be responsible for various contract processing work initiatives as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Support the identification, implementation, and refinement of Best Practices
- Identify trends and findings from analyzing key program data and metrics. Deliver these findings to contracted supplier partners, and share spend growth opportunities to target suppliers and customer units. \
- Update Avendra strategic sourcing supplier maps, and other assigned PowerPoint presentations
This is a remote, work from home role- Pacific Standard Time zone preferred.

Work Environment. This job operates in a home office setting. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, computer files and email/fax.
Physical Demands. This is a sedentary role with occasional light lifting of briefcase or suitcase for travel.
Role Requirements
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and modeling applications (Microsoft Excel & Access, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Excellent analytical skills – turning data into knowledge and action.
• Excellent organizational skills – effectiveness in prioritizing work, ability to multitask and comfort with ambiguity, as well completing on-time deliverables.
• Ability to generate ideas and communicate business growth solutions.
• Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
• Experience with Avendra’s contracting process a plus
• Customer Service Orientation
Overnight Travel Requirements. Type: 1 – 2 nights no more than once per month
