The Manager of Strategic Accounts, reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, will be assigned a portfolio of top accounts and will support initiatives deemed necessary for a sustainable relationship and instrumental in the top account's business revenue growth and profitability. Initiatives include timely analysis and business review meetings with account owners/management, secure retention via negotiated contracts, and work closely with the top accounts network of advisors by attending in person or virtual events that offer the opportunity to share valuable information related to Travel Leaders Network's tools, programs, and benefits.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
Responsibilities- Manage select strategic top accounts portfolio
- Establish strong, long-term top account relationships
- Communicate with top accounts owners/management on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
- Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet top accounts needs
- Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner
- Act as the liaison between top accounts and internal teams
- Monitor top accounts sales performance metrics
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
- Attend top accounts events including conferences, regionals, tradeshows, workshops, etc.
- College degree Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 3+ years sales, account management experience (preferably travel related)
- Solid sales and support experience in a B2B environment
- Hands on experience with Account management and reporting systems (preferably Salesforce and PowerBI)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
- Effective negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed up to 50%
- Great communication skills and ability to present or train larger audiences (100+)
- Goal oriented, action-focused, and self-disciplined
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS software
