Stocking 2

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Stocker to join our team. As a Stocker, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control, loading and unloading products, and ensuring the store shelves are properly stocked. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and attention to detail.

Duties:
- Receive and check incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Unload and sort merchandise from delivery trucks
- Stock shelves and displays with products according to company standards
- Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockroom and sales floor
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries
- Operate retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change
- Use RF scanner to track inventory levels and update system accordingly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or operating equipment

Skills:
- Proficient in retail math calculations for pricing and discounts
- Experience using RF scanner for inventory management
- Ability to load and unload heavy merchandise safely
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory control
- Knowledge of proper stock rotation techniques
- Bilingual skills (preferred) for effective communication with diverse customers
- Familiarity with produce handling and storage (preferred)
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
