Sterile Processing Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by properly sterilizing and maintaining medical equipment. Your attention to detail and knowledge of aseptic techniques will be essential in preventing infections and promoting patient care.

Duties:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Assemble and package surgical instrument trays
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper instrument handling and availability
- Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of Sterile Processing techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to operate sterilization equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
