Sterile Processing Technician

Multispecialty surgery center seeking an experienced full-time Sterile Processing Technician.

• Monday through Friday
• Daylight
• No weekends
• No call
• No holidays

Responsibilities:

• Decontamination and sterilization of surgical and endoscopic instruments
• Prepare and assemble surgical instrument trays and sets
• Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues
• Adhere to infection control protocols, AAMI and AORN guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Significant relevant experience and/or completion of a Sterile Processing or surgical technology certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a team, in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Must possess technical troubleshooting skills to ensure uninterrupted workflow and quality patient care.
