Primary Responsibilities:
- Create basic level shop details from ACAD.
- Create plate nesting plans in Omniwin program for plate burning.
- Create linear nesting plans in Structural Material Manager.
- Convert customer drawings to PDF for shop use.
- Organize drawing files for Production and QA release.
- Create parts lists for assembly and shipping.
- Utilize material drops & inventory for nesting.
Skills:
- Responsible for importing and nesting plate parts in Omniwin (training offered for this program).
- Good working knowledge of steel materials and available sizes.
- Good communication skills, proficient with Outlook.
- Proficient with Adobe or BlueBeam & Excel.
- Understanding of ACAD environments - using AutoCad views for printing and PDF creation. Ability to produce basic details for parts is preferred.
Manufacturer of heavy equipment from steel - ranging from water tanks to structural steel.
