As a Staff Client Platform Engineer at Attentive, you'll design, build, and deploy crucial endpoint management infrastructure for enhanced productivity and security. You're a problem-solving enthusiast, adept at proposing and executing projects to improve business outcomes. Your role involves identifying areas for enhancement, researching optimal solutions, collaborating cross-functionally, implementing effective solutions, and measuring success for continuous improvement. You're both a thinker and a doer, leveraging creativity to find innovative solutions. Automation is your ally, as you strive for smarter work processes. Your expertise includes modern device management frameworks like Zero Trust and Device Trust, integrated into solutions you've designed and implemented. The ideal candidate is proficient in Bash, Python, Jamf, AzureAD, Intune, Microsoft Graph, Powershell scripting, GAM, Google Workspace Admin, Terraform, and is comfortable configuring and optimizing MDM solutions for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Chrome Browser fleets.

• Own the configuration, design and integration of all of Attentive MDM environments (Jamf/Intune/Google MDM)
• Design and build zero touch deployment solutions for Mac and Windows
• Create management policies for the endpoint fleet that ensure device standard compliance, proactive patching, remediation of known CVE's
• Provide regular reporting of fleet performance and health against key metrics
• Create robust self service policies for end users that enable immediate productivity and provide ticket deflection from the Helpdesk
• Create automation that enables secure endpoint lifecycle workflows, integrated with Attentive's ITSM, IdP, and other key systems
• Keep current on Apple and Microsoft''s product developments, capabilities, and bugs, as well as, familiarity with the competitive landscape of tooling for macOS and PC management
• Draft and edit documentation as part of project deliverables and keep it up-to-date with current state
• Set hardware and software standards for deployment, whitelisting and blacklisting
• Create and deployment framework and policies to manage Chrome browsers for access to Attentive's productivity Suite
• Work cross functionally with key stakeholders and leaders across the organization to ensure our endpoint management program meets the needs of our key stakeholders
• Serve as an escalation point (Tier 3) for the IT Support team relative to issues managing our endpoint fleet, configuration and management policies and other configurations within the scope of your subject matter expertise

About You

• 9+ years of experience building from idea to hands on implementation with endpoint management software 
• 7+ years of experience scripting (Bash, Python, Powershell) automated solutions for deploying or managing devices beyond out of the box MDM capabilities
• Expert-level experience using at least two industry standard MDM solutions including but not limited to Jamf Pro, SCCM, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, etc. 
• Expert-level experience with managing, deploying, and troubleshooting macOS Mojave, Windows 10, iOS 13
• Proven expertise packaging applications, managing patch compliance, and software distribution
• Proven experience integrating MDM solutions with world class IDPs via SCIM or other protocols (Okta preferred)
• Comfortable working and deploying via code (Git, Terraform, Yaml, etc)
• Experience with modern configuration management and containerization systems (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
• A passion for automating all things and streamlining business functions 
• Attention to detail and a security minded approach to solving problems 
• Proven ability to drive concurrent projects and initiatives while managing operational tasks 
• Loves documentation!
• Comfortable tracking progress for initiative and tasks in a Agile tool (Jira)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) 
• Team player that consistently looks for ways to level up those around them

- The standard base salary range for this position is $146,000- $220,000 annually  + equity + benefits

- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
