Staff Attorney / General Counsel

We are seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a dynamic and fast-paced corporate team.
We seek someone who is looking for a rewarding career as an in-house corporate lawyer. Handling everything from contract review, compliance, corporate governanc, transactional work, and even overseeing litigation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake process with new clients
- Prepare and file pleadings for civil litigation, including trial and appellate cases
- Manage intake calls with clients and schedule appointments for trial
- Coordinate with trial attorneys to ensure timely case management and delivery of services to clients
- Draft discovery and discovery responses in accordance with established practices and procedures
- Prepare client pleadings for mediation and or settlement negotiations
- Serve as mediator or facilitator in cases where necessary
- Prepare and file motions, motions to modify or motions for summary judgment
- Prepare trial briefs, expert reports, cross-motions, etc. in preparation for court hearings
- Prepare trial briefs for attorneys, including correspondence with clients, experts, etc.
- Prepare witness lists, schedules, travel arrangements, etc. for legal meetings and depositions.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Skills: Strong communication skills (email, phone calls, etc.)and the ability to work under pressure deadlines deadlines management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments on time. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Preferred Skills: Client Management Skills (B2) - preferred but not required. Civil Litigation - preferred but not required. Trial Preparation - preferred but not required. Pre-Law School Training (PST) - preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $92,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
