SalaryInnovative Driven is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Commercial Contracts to join the team at a prestigious international corporation! This position will be based in Jupiter, Florida.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of commercial contracts, transactional and real estate experience in a corporate legal team or law firm. The candidate must have exceptionally strong drafting skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, and other legal documents.
- Manage of negotiations and various projects.
- Identify, review, analyze and mitigate legal risks, assess complex issues, and devise practical strategies and solutions.
- Supervise and manage certain aspects of outside counsel relationships
- Identify and implement techniques and processes to increase the quality and efficiency of legal services.
- Maintain up to date knowledge or relevant federal, state and local laws.
- Exercise good judgment in determining when to elevate issues to senior members of the Legal Department.
- Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team, providing timely, practical advice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctorate from accredited law school and active Florida state bar license.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of commercial contract/transactional/real estate experience in a corporate legal department or law firm setting.
- Significant previous transactional and real estate experience is preferred.
- Superior drafting and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly, combined with the ability to work onsite in Jupiter, Florida.

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
