In this key role, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting activities, providing support to Finance and Operations departments, and driving process improvements.
- Daily sales invoicing
- Daily inventory adjustments
- Daily cash management
- Month end accruals, reconciliations and journal entries, various monthly / quarterly reporting
- Fixed asset management
- Sales & Use tax filing support
- Perform special projects and data analysis as needed
Required Qualifications. To make a smooth transition into this role, you must possess the following:
- BS in Accounting
- 1+ years general ledger and month-end close experience
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to conduct research, analyze and solve problems
- Ability to demonstrate good detail orientation, logical thinking and organization and prioritization skills
- Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong Excel skills - ability to perform advanced functions, manipulate large amounts of data with ease, and format a report professionally for use by upper management
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team
- Proficiency with accounting software systems
