We are now hiring an onsite Staff Accountant to join our growing team and support functions in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Journal Entries and Financial Analysis.

What you'll do
Financial Analysis
- Analyze validity of income, expenses and month end statements
Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Accounts
- Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts
Accounts Payable
- Collect and process vendor invoices following internal control procedures
- Research discrepancies and solve problems that relate to invoicing and vendor accounts.
Payroll
- Compile payroll data
- Perform calculations and adjustments as needed
- Update and maintain employee database
- Convert payroll summary for Financial Reporting
Other Department Duties
- Learn and adhere to policies and procedures for assigned departments
- Recommend process improvement
- Cross train and assist in other accounting functions
- Opportunities to Lead Projects and Process Improvements
SOX Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policy and SOX
- Test and evaluate internal controls
What you'll need to be successful
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Accounting field
- SAP and/or UKG experience preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software and programs
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to drive and meet recurring deadlines
- Interest in numbers, math, business and production processes
