SalaryProvides friendly, excellent service to customers while taking reservations, seating guests, settling guest checks and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists guests with restaurant reservations and seats guests as they arrive in the steakhouse
- Operates cash register and properly handles and settles checks
- Accurately maintains balance of cash register and restaurant checks
- Records all tips collected from credit card and comps charges
- Handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers; seeks supervisor intervention as appropriate
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Performs the duties of a Club Premier Service Host, Food Server, Steward, Server Assistant, Coffee Bar Attendant or Cook as needed in assigned outlets Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Must be 17 years of age
- Mus t possess a pleasant personality
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
- Prior cash handling and cash register experience High school diploma or GED

- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still maintaining priorities and organization
- Able to accurately and quickly process all cash transactions
- Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
