Summary:
Provide the company with accounting, cost information, and other financial analysis, and maintains company records by performing the following duties. Perform analysis and makes recommendations to the Controller for improvements, changes, and corrections.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
Daily Cash Posting and reconciliations
Maintain AR aging and customer communications
Research AP invoice posting issues
Daily and Monthly inventory reporting and analysis (as necessary)
Assist with Month End close process
Record routine journal entries and accruals
Balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years accounting experience
Proficient in Excel
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English for Safety, ISO, and work related tasks.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
