Staff Accountant - Client Accounting And Advisory Services

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping, payroll and payroll tax, sales and use tax, reporting, dashboard preparation and Advisory Services for our business clients
• Prepares compliance products in area of focus (excise returns, financial reports, dashboards)
• Bank reconciliations, preparing month end close, analysis of financials
• Ability to self-review to ensure accurate and complete
• Reviews historic materials or conducts research in preparation for engagement
• Communicates status and workload issues to accountant reviewer, manager or partner
• Provides clear, concise, logical, and professional written and oral communication in both internal and external correspondence
• Responds promptly to client’s inquiries and requests
• Understands client timelines and meets project delivery expectations
• Meets annual individual net billable revenue and charge hour goals
• Clarifies expectation of billable time to be incurred, accounts for time spent, and strives to complete assignments within client timeline and budget
• Effectively collaborates with team members to achieve client and firm objectives

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem solving skills
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to embrace change
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity, with high ethical standards
• Demonstrates the ability to efficiently and effectively use firm software
• Ability to embrace change and learn new emerging technology
• Acts on performance feedback
• U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or authorized to work in the U.S.
