Our search is on for a Client Accounting Services Manager who will be the linchpin for financial accuracy and strategic accounting support for progressive-minded small to mid-sized businesses. The Role: As a Client Accounting Services Manager, you will be the trusted partner to a diverse range of client leadership teams, from CEOs to Sole Proprietors. Your expertise will ensure flawless financial transactions and reporting, with a variety of complexities.

Your Mission:

• Oversee the reconciliation of account balances and bank statements, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Lead the month-end close procedures, crafting and analyzing detailed financial reports for a portfolio of clients.
• Guarantee the precision of accounts payable and receivable, and present error-free accounting reports.
• Provide strategic analysis of financial data, offering insights and identifying efficiency enhancements.
• Advocate for and implement modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Mentor and support the accounting team, instilling excellence and fostering their professional growth.
• Engage in developing robust business processes and accounting policies to bolster internal controls for clients.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to refine and elevate financial procedures, contributing to the firm’s innovative approach.
• Provide support during the tax season, assisting with tax preparation and compliance.

Who We Seek:

• An independent, seasoned professional with 5+ years of G/L accounting experience, ideally from a CPA, consulting, or business advisory services firm
• A proven communicator, capable of engaging effectively with clients and possessing a solid history of success.
• Profound understanding of accounting principles and at least 2 years experience with complex corporate and individual tax matters.
• Proficient with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, MS Dynamics, and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
