Staff Accountant

Role:

Align Credit Union is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain the Credit Union's accounting records and reports, ensuring they are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and banking accounting practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

Creates and reconciles journal entries with the accounting general ledger accounts

Reconciliation for daily settlement of the credit union

Prepares and reconciles monthly accruals

Prepares various accounting reports and spreadsheets

Coordinates accounting matters with other staff members and departments

Offers suggestions for improving and streamlining processes and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.89 - $26.11 per hour
