Staff Accountant

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including payroll, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and financial reports. This position is based in Overland Park, KS, with a woman owned, growing business.

```Responsibilities```

- Prepare and process payroll for employees

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

- Month-end and year-end closing processes

- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis

- Assist in forecasting financial performance

```Qualifications```

- Experience in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations

- Proficiency in financial report interpretation

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
