Mayvin is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to assist the U.S. Marshals Service - Office of Protective Intelligence. The Senior Program Analyst will conduct intelligence research and analysis to determine the degree of threats and provide recommendations on countering or eliminating the threats.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing threats, incidents, and inappropriate communications regarding their degree and nature for referral to investigators for validation, providing decision support information, etc
- Consolidates, analyzes, and evaluates incoming intelligence reports and information; identifies missing data and formulates initiatives to collect required data
- Establishes methodologies for problem situations; recommends controversial matters; prepares basic-descriptive, current-reportorial, or speculative-estimative intelligence reports
- Provides consultant services and monitors projects
- Serves on review committees to evaluate, discuss, test, and validate intelligence research reports
- Develop new concepts, guides, and methodologies to solve problems
- Plans and conducts research projects and briefs top-level USMS personnel on the purpose and progress of projects
- Represent USMS with outside intelligence sources
- Interpret existing rules, regulations, and USMS policies
- Prepare reports, memoranda, briefing papers, and other written material for internal and external use
- Prepare a variety of reports as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years of specialized experience related to the duties described above in support of a Federal Law Enforcement Agency
- Knowledge of the Warrant Information Network (W1N) system, the Targeted Violence Information Sharing System {TAVISS), the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the National Law Enforcement Tracking System (NLETS), and other law enforcement and public investigative databases
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees and outside sources
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required

- Previous Government Agency experience
