THE ROLE
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, this position supports the accounting department with administrative tasks related to entity set-up and maintenance, business license and registrations, and treasury support such as bank account set-up and maintenance and initiating wire and ACH payments. Specific to this role, the Treasury Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing documentation needed to establish new bank accounts and changes to existing accounts over disparate banking platforms
- Compilation of Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation
- Initiation of wire transfers for Portman Holdings, tier entities, and subsidiaries and maintaining wire activity schedule
- Upload check positive pay files to all banking portals, including manual check issues and voids; decision positive pay and ACH exceptions.
- Business license applications and renewals
- Compilation of information packages needed for trade credit applications, and operating property tenant requests,
- Document maintenance of vendor wire/ACH payment instructions and payment instructions change requests
- Provide backup as needed to generate and distribute daily cash reports to management
- Support treasury and accounting initiatives as needed
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Safeguards company assets
- Other duties as assigned

THE PERSON
The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with the ability to foster good working relationships, possess an excellent work ethic with the capacity to meet deadlines, and maintain excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Specific requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
- Two-five years of related work experience in an administrative role supporting multiple senior level staff
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Windows, and a strong understanding of Adobe Acrobat PRO PDF management software.
- Ability to read and comprehend more complex instructions & calculations
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster good working relationships at every level within the company
- Excellent planning, presentation and organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, take accountability and ownership of assigned tasks and work product
- Sound problem-solving skills with solid decision-making capability and emotional maturity
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
- Demonstrated self-starter (proactive, taking initiative) and has the ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule outside of the core business hours
- Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
