Sr Security Staff Manager 2 - Functional Mgmt

Job Description Summary
As the Senior Security Staff Manager 2 you will lead various aspects of Industrial Security to provide a secure and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, visitors, and suppliers as well as other GE cleared locations. In this role you will lead a diverse team that will be accountable for Physical Security, Counterintelligence, Security Investigations, and Insider Threat. You will integrate and develop processes to meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within varied functional areas of expertise, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) standards.

Job Description

In this role you will:

• Serve as a key contributor to the Insider Threat Program per DoD NISP requirements.
• Investigate security incidents that impact cleared personnel and accredited facilities.
• Ensure the secure and compliant posture of DoD classified holdings and accredited facilities and closed areas.
• Oversee the Counterintelligence training and awareness program.
• Develop and maintain key external industry partnerships along with strong internal stakeholder relationships to garner best practices and influence emerging policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Expert level 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and ICD 705 working experience.
• Possess an active DoD security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
• Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, and other data systems.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Personnel Security, Information Assurance, and COMSEC, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Access Control Systems (ACS).

Eligibility Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
• Minimum 7-10 years of National Industrial Security Program (NISP), government regulatory, or US Department of Defense experience in a large and highly complex organizational environment.

Desired Skills

• FSO or AFSO credentials preferred.
• Established project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs / multi-faceted projects / and a dynamic team.
