Duty Manager At Mci Airport

G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Duty Manager operations in Kansas City International Airport (MCI)

· Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

· Shift: Varies

The Duty Manager isresponsible for the day-to-day activities of specific operation including staff, scheduling time sheets and reporting to clients

What does a Duty Manager do?

• · Care for all pertinent job duties related to the Duty Manager role as well as other duties of subordinate employees when necessary
• · Require familiarity of pertinent regulations
• · Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Department Manager
• · Monitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed
• · Make sure employees follow all regulations/procedures
• · Check in and out sheets to insure all employees have logged in times correctly
• · On call 24 hours per day
• · Report inquiries and other major incidents to Department Managers. Perform other duties as requested

What skills are required to Join the Team?

• Must be 18 years or older
• Some supervisory/management in shift work environment experience necessary.
• Have State Security Officer license where applicable.
• Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
• Be able to resolve problem situations with passengers when necessary
• Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check
• Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation

Language Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
• Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
