Job Description

G2 is seeking a candidate for the Operations Manager role at the Dallas/ Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).  The ideal candidate will have two (2) plus years of supervisory experience and two (2) years of airline operations experience. This position supervises BTW activities and reports to the Ramp Manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of progressive supervisory or management experience
• Two (2) years of experience in airline operations
• Experience managing schedules and budgets and tracking performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Adaptable and flexible to an ever-changing work environment.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Supervisor/Manager experience in airline operations.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 

• Manage the day-to-day operations with primary responsibility over scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, and limiting overtime of the operation.
• Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
• Train/retrain all personnel in airline procedures, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Implement a safety plan for the station
• Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and preventative actions where necessary
• Responsible for the scheduling of all airport employees, ensuring adequate coverage
• Maintain good employee relations. Handle employee problems efficiently and effectively
• Client Relations – Effectively communicate with senior airline management and project a positive image in responding to airlines, staff, and public inquiries
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives
• Perform other duties as requested
