G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add a Duty Manager to the operations at Kansas City International Airport - MCI

Pay Rate: $22
Shift: Morning, Afternoon and Evening

What does a Duty Manager do?
The Duty Manager is responsible for the safe operation and management of the day-to-day activities of certain operations at the MCI Airport.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Manage all operational activities to meet the company objectives for a safe and cost-effective operation;
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring team members are adequately trained;
- Manage the day-to-day operations with primary responsibility over scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, and limiting overtime of the operation;
- Promote safety awareness, active encouragement of open reporting and feedback in the operations department;
- Ensure the agents' conduct, and performance follow the company standards, as well as evaluate performance results;
- Determining manpower requirements; ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair, timely, and consistent manner;
- Work with the local airline leadership to maximize operational performance in areas of on-time performance, staffing, training, compliance and safety;
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring team members are adequately trained;
- Cohesively partners with HR and Corporate leaders;
- Other duties as requested
What skills are required to Join the Team?
- At least 2 years experience as Supervisor or Lead Agent
- At least 3 years experience within an airline or similar role
- Computer skills, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum 2 years within a Managing Position Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Personal and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry items and machinery up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently and effectively during working hours
- Treat all information as confidential.
- Possess the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees, and the public.
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift.
Language Skills:
· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
· Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
· Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
