SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for analyzing complex business operations, recommending solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals, program management, contract administration, and oversight necessary to manage and deliver all performance requirements, including management of cost, scope, schedule, and quality in the delivery process across the contract. This role requires a thorough understanding of an organization's structure, policies, and operations and recommends solutions to improve general business processes and planning. This position can collaborate with one or several business units or functions.
ATTRIBUTES
As a senior team member, the Project Manager is a strategic business partner to our client. It understands critical business drivers and builds effective relationships throughout the organization. The PM provides solutions to complex technical challenges associated with establishing an ePMO on a new directorate allowing to see insight through KPIs in a service now dashboard. Establishing a SharePoint gateway for organizational artifacts, and ensuring the governance established through the organization ePMO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Agile Project Management support by standards established by Project Management Institute.
Monitor the performance of contract tasks, projects, and operational functions notifying the government of risks and deviations as they are identified.
Able to have a strong rapport with appropriate client management personnel, other managers, and client agency representatives.
Interface directly with the key stakeholders and be responsible for ensuring that the services and deliverables required are provided by the performance standards established within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Responsible for the management of Impyrian personnel resources supporting the contract.
Interface with both internal and external teams (Government and Vendor) to effectively manage, track, and report on all activities under this contract.
Lead in business process and systems analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts.
Translate business process needs into technical requirements.
Lead the operations, maintenance, and enhancements of the project portfolio dashboard product.
Provide dashboards and statistical reports
Conduct testing and update necessary documentation including user manuals.
Analyze the portfolio and project data ensuring quality data.
Worked with various customized client applications.
Communicates task assignments to all project personnel.
Drives the resolution of issues and holds self and team accountable for results.
Responsible for the development of project task schedules and coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
Supervises preparation, submission, and accuracy of all required contract and project deliverables.
Provides support or leads activities for accomplishing deliverables for projects and tasks when needed.
Manages, tracks, and reports on all assigned project tasks and subtasks in a timely and professional manner.
Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field required
Ability to obtain Public Trust
PMP Certifications are required
Experience with meeting/video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc.)
5+ years of Project/Program Management experience in an Information Technology field.
Must have experience setting up and managing a Program Management Office preferably at the enterprise level (ePMO)
Experience with establishing and managing executive-level relationships.
Experience in enterprise strategic planning, budgeting, and communication
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills at the executive level
Some level of technical knowledge
Experience bringing value-added (verbiage)
PREFERRED SKILLS EDUCATION & EXP
Preferred experience gathering technical requirements or managing a technical project
Graduate degree preferred but not required
CSM preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods using a phone or other forms of business communication
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
