- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the assigned originations system and the configurable features that can be utilized to create, change and support business process, partner integrations, communications to external and internal parties through the system, credit policies, pricing policies, system work flow capabilities and any other configurable item
- Ability to create and maintain complex java formulas
- Ability to create API schema's and implement into defi LOS systems (Loan Originations Systems)
- Understanding of API protocol
- Maintains an understanding of what is not configurable and requires support from the vendor
- Guides internal departments on solutions to business problems within the assigned originations system
- Configures and maintains approved business processes within the assigned originations system
- Primary contact for configuration requests, change requests, and support
- Maintains clear and detailed documentation on business process flows and policy requirements that are configured within the system
- Maintains clear and detailed documentation related to approved change requests for business process flows and policies
- Assigns and mentors Business Analysts for additional ongoing support or configuration
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to create, maintain and support partner integrations
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to internal employees and external partners
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
- Support project teams for the implementation or upgrade of business processes and policies within the assigned system
- Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements.
- Develops and maintains technical and system documentation.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business/Information Technology from four-year College or university preferred; Five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience working in the auto finance industry preferably in leading operational functions as it relates to Originations (Credit and Funding) processes.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate level experience using MS Excel, MS Query, SQL queries, XML, Soap Interfaces, or similar process mapping software. Must have a basic understanding of interface techniques.
Other Skills: Proven experience with application programming concepts/best practices and experience in programming in a language that utilizes advanced Excel like functions and java. Solid understanding of writing formulas and rules as well as documenting workflow and business processes.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Schedule: May be required to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs dictate. Eligible as a remote position, in which case, must be able to travel 10% of the time.
