Sr. Network Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in DNS, AWS, Route Switch Troubleshooting, and Big IP Load Balancing for network design, implementation, and support.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years CCNP Level Experience

• Expertise in DNS

• Expertise in AWS

• Expertise in Route Switch Troubleshooting

• Expertise in Big IP Load Balancing

• Willingness to be on call once every 8 weeks for Tier 3 Network Engineering

• BS Degree or equivalent 10 years of CCNP experience

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to logically explain your network troubleshooting process

• Experience engineering/deploying large networks

• Clear stance on network security and established security procedures

• Experience leading a team to deploy network resources

• Ability to effectively handle challenging customer interactions

• Experience adding connections to a large existing network

• Keen interest in staying updated with industry developments

• Proven approach for scaling networks

• SD-WAN experience

• Load balancing experience

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions or improving the efficiency of current networks

• Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP

• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation

• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security

• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

• Arranging scheduled upgrades

• Investigating faults in the network

• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases

• Provide reports on the status of the networks to key stakeholders.

  

 

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
