We are assisting our client, a printing and digital media organization, in their search for a Network Administrator. This is a direct hire, full-time, remote position.
JOB TITLE: Senior Network Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the company’s network hardware and infrastructure. This individual leads the Networking team and is responsible for ensuring the network systems and procedures adhere to organizational values of security and cost effectiveness, while providing value to our customers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design Network infrastructure expansion and changes
- Develop, maintain and document departmental processes and procedures
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and other networking hardware.
- Design, configure, manage and maintain the company’s IT network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance to ensure network performance, availability, security, and to identify and resolve issues.
- Oversee the installation of new hardware or software.
- Ensure regular system updates and security patches to maintain a secure and reliable network.
- Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to resolve network-related user concerns effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and guides for other support staff.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Network Administration role.
- Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, Fortinet preferred.
- Experience configuring and maintaining switches, HP Aruba experience preferred.
- Experience configuring and maintaining wireless access points, HP Aruba experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
- Excellent network troubleshooting skills
- Excellent Communication skills along with the ability to work independently and as a team.
- Excellent Problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
TRAVEL: Up to 25% travel required during the first 12-18 months
