Our client is a nationally recognized forensic engineering firm that has been in business for over 40 years. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This is a growth opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer, because this small team has over 100 years of experience, expertise, and specialized engineering knowledge between all the team members.
This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate and possess a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to join a fun and close-knit team to work on a wide variety of interesting and challenging forensic engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team to investigate, summarize, and write forensic reports for clients.
- Prepare detailed investigations, summarizations, and and forensic reports for projects.
- Most of the time will be spent in the office (50-75%) with some time spent traveling mainly in the Iowa region to complete investigations.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Ideal candidate is licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $80K - $120K, commensurate with experience.
