Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Network engineering work experience, preferably in a data center
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with network protocols across local area networks
- Working F5 Load Balancers
- Working Citrix NetScalers
- Citrix GSLB and FAS integration
- Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP, F5, NetScaler, Palo Alto etc)
- Network IP routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF)
- Experience with IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
- Experience with high availability and performance of the data center networks
Expectations:
- Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
- Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Responsibilities
This Network Engineer will work within the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) Life Cycle Management team. As a Network Engineer, this candidate will support monitoring, management and troubleshooting of network related systems or anomalies. Responsibilities also include design and development of services that will improve the network.
We are seeking a qualified Network Engineer that is proficient with cloud technologies (OCI); building, operating, designing for critical and high scale network environments. The candidate should be proficient in network fundamentals to include, routing, switching, load-balancing, firewalls, and trouble-shooting basics. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day data center operations such as monitoring the stability of the network and potentially perform switch configurations, network builds, load balancing creation, and access-lists. We are looking for a team member with a strong understanding of Citrix NetScaler and F5 load balancing along with an understanding of Cisco switching and routing and knowledge of networking concepts which will be responsible for operating, growing and maintaining code versions. In addition, the engineer will operate and maintain Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and vulnerability management along with other security functions and best practices within a regulated data center environment (PCI, HIPPA, Federal, etc...).The candidate must also be able to work well with teams across multiple OHAI organizations, think dynamically in stressful situations, be available for on-call rotations and maintain the appropriate government security clearance. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring employees and teaching network fundamentals to increase skillsets

Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
