Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with specialization in healthcare related building design and a strong background in consulting.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering

• Must have a PE License

• 13+ years of consulting experience emphasizing on healthcare related building design

• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, practices and techniques

• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Willingness to travel

• Exceptional communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize initial design approach for major phases of large projects.

• Plan, schedule, conduct and/or coordinate Mechanical Engineering work.

• Interpret and revise engineering documents.

• Conceive, plan and conduct research in complex problem areas.

• Prepare engineered plans, technical specifications, contract documents and assist with estimates.

• Participate in contract bidding and administration; observe ongoing progress of a project.

• Assist in coordinating projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff.

• Resolve complex problems such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements.

 

 Pay: 150k-170K

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year
