Snelling ProSearch is hiring for aMechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team for a globally leading OEM subsidiary. A leading manufacturer of industrial robotic packaging machinery is hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer who has proven to excel in with automated machinery design.

In this role, you'll be a key player in:

• Designing, detailing, testing, and supporting cutting-edge automated machinery, robotic systems, and integrated systems for production.
• Creating computer-aided design (CAD) models and detailed design packages using SolidWorks.
• Developing robotic End of Arm Tooling and integrated system work cells.
• Collaborating with a talented team of engineers, management, plant operators, and other stakeholders.
• Providing technical support for in-house machine assembly and ensuring projects stay on target.

To be a great fit, you'll have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in designing packaging and product handling equipment (or relevant experience).
• SolidWorks modeling expertise and familiarity with PDM software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and learning new technologies.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• US Citizenship or permanent residency (visa sponsorship not available).

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of drafting and engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Experience with performance testing of Mechanical Designs.
• A hands-on work style with strong analytical skills.
