SUMMARY
Plan, direct, and coordinate the improvement and effectiveness of broad marketing operations including public relations, advertising, sales tools, technical publications, trade shows, database marketing, website and lead generation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage continuous improvement in the advertising activities of the company.
· Manage the company's continuous improvement efforts in the public relations areas.
· Manage the continuous improvement and development of creative professional sales tools. Continuously update, enhance and refresh Yaskawa Motoman's web-based sites and products.
· Develop, implement and maintain corporate style guide for all outside communication.
· Assign technical writers and others as required to meet publication development schedules of both technical and marketing documents.
· Manage and/or coordinate special marketing programs including open house and other corporate events.
· Coordinate and work continuously to improve company efforts with regards to trade shows and other events.
· Manage the marketing operation activities performed by the Marketing and Sales Specialists.
· Prepare and work to improve all marketing reports.
· Coordinate the company trademark activities.
· Work with Product Development to coordinate the release of technical documentation with new products.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree and 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must have excellent computer skills in desktop publishing, database, spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing.
