The Senior Legal Asset Management Specialist drafts amendments and negotiates legal terms and finalizes documents with landlords in connection with lease renewals. This position prepares RCI sheets for renewals and prepares and obtains approvals for ERs. The Senior Legal Asset Management Specialist drafts and negotiates Ancillary documents, including but not limited to Storage Agreements, License Agreements, Signage Agreements, Renewal Notices, Estoppels, and SNDAs.

The Senior Legal Asset Management Specialist drafts and negotiates Ancillary documents, including but not limited to Storage Agreements, License Agreements, Signage Agreements, Renewal Notices, Estoppels, and SNDAs.
You'll get a chance to:
- Draft amendments and negotiates legal terms and finalizes leases and amendments with landlords in connection with lease renewals
- Prepare Lease Renewal Critical Information (RCI) sheets for renewals
- Prepare and obtains approvals for Exception Reports (ER)
- Draft and negotiate Ancillary documents (e.g., signage and storage agreements, general contractor agreements), Estoppels, and SNDAs (loan and lease documents).
- Draft purchase and/or lease agreements and assists with due diligence as needed.
- Conduct analysis and provide legal guidance to internal customers (Asset Management, Property Management and Lease Accounting).

Qualifications:
Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or real estate
- Paralegal certification or JD required
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
