Description/Comment:We are seeking DevOps Engineers to join our team. The qualified candidate will support the development, and maintenance of our modern DevOps solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset.
This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting DevOps solutions in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment utilizing common DevOps tools such as: Chef, Ansible, Terraform for our programs as we develop our modernized systems.
Additional Job Details:Basic Qualifications: A U.S. government DOD - Secret issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience. Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe) Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation (CKA certified if possible) Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory). Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible. Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+). Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks. Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker) VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere). Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go). Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify). General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization. Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration. Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days.
