Geologics is seeking a talented Sr. Infrastructure Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners based in Aurora, CO.
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, development, Integration, and maintenance of our modern infrastructure Network framework. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have an engineering mindset, have the ability and willingness to troubleshoot complex network problems, seeking to understand virtualized design elements in a dynamic environment.
A DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher is required for this position. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Position:Sr. Infrastructure Engineer
Type: W-2, Contract (12 months)
Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, Integration, and maintenance of our modern infrastructure Network framework.
• Work in environments that are a mix of physical and virtualized servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware
• Provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard Network Engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher (no exceptions, sorry!)
• Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field of study and minimum of 5 years of related experience, which must include:
  • Experience with Data Center LAN and WAN design, implementation, diagnostics, performance, and management
  • Ability to understand system data flows internal and external to the overall system boundary.
  • Experience with Linux System Administration and VMware
  • Experience with configuring cloud networking in AWS, security groups.
  • Hands on experience scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Network Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE
• Knowledge/experience with DoD Network Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and IA hardening requirements and implementation
• Experience with managing virtual machines / virtual network infrastructure
• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts
• Experience with the Agile development lifecycle
• Experience with monitoring of virtualized network environments
