Overview
General Description:
Ensures the Human Capital Management (HCM), timekeeping System and other Human Resources information tools are developed, implemented, updated and maintained. Embodies IOOGA (Integrity, Our People, Our Customers, Growth and Attitude)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute functional expertise to the Workday product team via analysis, design, configuration, testing, debug and implementation of new features, workflows, and/or extend existing functionality.
  • Focus on delivering product enhancements to drive measurable impact to improve the employee experience.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of Workday concepts and provide significant functional subject matter expertise in Core HCM, Talent Management, Advance Compensation.
  • Configure and maintain Workday security model.
  • Hands-on with design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday business processes.
  • Maintain documentation related to Workday HCM business processes and configurations.
  • Actively involved in process and system optimization, finding opportunities in moving functionalities from manual/external systems into Workday; optimize out of the box functionalities, automation, and innovation.
  • Administer the Workday HCM system and implement configuration changes and new functionality where needed, release management, deployment, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and team, and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex problems, ensuring the stability and reliability of the product.
  • Embrace and advocate for Agile and Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.
  • Provide backup support to HRIS reporting and integration analysts as needed.
  • Serve as subject matter expert, staying abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and driving technical excellence within the team.
  • Mentors, coaches and trains HRIS Analysts I and II.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of five years progressive HRIS experience. Previous experience with HCM systems required; Workday required. Should have had formal Workday training. Understanding of multiple software development life cycle methodologies is needed. Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Work, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, is necessary. Visio required. The ability to create complex reports with Workday reporting tools is required. Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions is essential. Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and must be able to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing. Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical language is essential. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential. Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential. In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential. Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.
Educational Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in information technology, business or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree is beneficial.
Work Days:
Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
Work Hours:
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
