Job Summary:
The Sr. HRIS Analyst maintains the functionality and reliability of the organization’s HRIS and other HR systems ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objective of the company. This position manages data integrity, testing of system changes, provides report writing support and analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities. The position is also responsible for the processing of the company’s payroll process and cycle including administration of all people-related internal changes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with HR team and organizational leadership to determine the short-term and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
- Enter and process employee information and payroll data in the Payroll System.
- Update payroll records, entering all applicable changes including but not limited to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title department/transfers, promotions, merit, garnishments, new hires, etc.
- Analyze end-to-end work processes (recruiting and onboarding through termination) with an eye of efficiency.
- Prepare reports and compile summaries of earnings taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages as well as reports/queries to support the HR department needs along with company-wide operation’s needs.
- Partner with third party vendors on troubleshooting, resolution of outstanding issues and optimizing vendor service levels.
- Determine payroll liabilities, calculate employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
- Resolve payroll-related discrepancies, collecting and analyzing information.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, computer science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, accounting, and/or HRIS programs
- Prior experience using UKG Software (Ready) highly preferred
