Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Temporary HR Generalist with expertise in both payroll and HR Information Systems (HRIS). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations during a temporary period, contributing to the seamless functioning of various HR functions.
This role is in the office 5 days a week from 7-3.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
HRIS Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of HRIS data, ensuring data integrity.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of HRIS upgrades or changes.
- Provide training and support to employees and managers on HRIS functionalities.
Employee Relations:
- Assist in the resolution of employee inquiries related to payroll and HRIS matters.
- Collaborate with HR team members to address employee concerns and maintain positive employee relations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Contribute to the onboarding process by assisting with documentation and system setup.
- Coordinate the offboarding process, ensuring all relevant payroll and HRIS tasks are completed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on payroll and HRIS functions.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Duration: This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of 3-6 months
