This position will work within a dynamic, dedicated team of events and marketing professionals to execute a variety of in-person and virtual event types including large audience live programs, interactive forums and one-on-one interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary project manager for live events.
- Develop a project management system that ensures all benchmarks and deliverables are being met.
- Arrange event logistics including identifying potential venues, arranging appropriate food & beverage, procuring event decor, confirming A/V and livestreaming needs.
- Coordinate communication between various departments of The Hill to ensure flawless event execution.
- Work with business development manager and content producers to communicate with sponsors and participants on event logistics.
- Mange event budget and negotiate and route vendor contracts.
- Build event registration pages.
- Assist with audience development and outreach where appropriate.
- Assist with drafting promotional materials including creating compelling audience communications.
- Prepare on –site event materials and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned and developed.
