Responsibilities
The Role...
The Head of Total Rewards will oversee the BellRing Brands Total Rewards portfolio. This will include oversight of the payroll provider, benefits administration, leave management, human resources information systems (HRIS) administration (managed by IT), BellRing long-term incentive programs, and 401k administration. BellRing seeks to develop a shared services platform and Total Rewards team for future growth with an expectation that third-party providers will provide direct services such as payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and leave management. In spring 2024, BellRing will partner with a Big 4 management consulting firm to select vendor support for a new payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS. Over a period of 8 months, BellRing will prepare to migrate from the provision of shared HR services for these areas which are currently being provided by an affiliated company under contract and manage its own HR systems and provision of services.
The role will help hire and lead the BellRing Total Rewards team and be a key business partner to the Premier Nutrition Company People Operations team, which will be the main point of contact and People partners for all Premier Nutrition Company employees.
This position will be based remotely though each remote employee comes to our Emeryville headquarters at least quarterly for all-hands and other large all-company meetings, with occasional travel to our St. Louis and Dallas offices (estimated total 5-8 short trips per year).
The expected pay scale this role is $200k to $215k, which may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic area (if applicable), and internal equity for the role.

- Coaching, guiding, and business partnering: 25% of time
- Coach, lead, and give guidance to an estimated 2-4 Total Rewards direct report employees toward solutions to challenging people issues in areas such as compensation, motivation, career plans, and development
- Partner with the 12-person Premier Nutrition Company People team to coordinate the collective execution and administration of Total Rewards programs and strategy
- Have weekly partnership meetings with the Associate Director of PNC People Operations to coordinate and align BellRing Total Rewards and PNC People Operations portfolios
- Have frequent one-on-ones with the SVP of People for BellRing Brands advising them on matters of strategic importance for the Total Rewards portfolio
Total rewards strategic initiatives: 20% of time
- Strategize, benchmark, analyze, and design a robust, generous, employee-centric Total Rewards strategy to attract and retain amazing talent
- Give presentations to PNC Senior Leadership Team on Total Rewards strategy and support executive decision-making process through expertise and context in the field
- Oversee and execute HR Total Rewards and benefits compliance programs
Total rewards operations: 35% of time
- Be a liaison between third-party HR program providers for escalated or strategic matters
- Assist with running the daily business of the Total Rewards team, including ad hoc work projects
- Provide general oversight and contracts administration of HR third-party providers such as employment insurance, relocation; dental, medical, prescription, & vision benefits; workers compensation, HR compliance, talent acquisition, LTIP, 401k, visas, unemployment claims, AAP, EEO-1, VETS, etc.
- Support the administration of the Employee Benefits Trustees Committee (EBTC) of BellRing Brands

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- Background with running and designing Total Rewards programs
- The ideal candidate will have experience with acquisition and integration of companies into common platforms and processes
Skills:
- HR senior level experience in major people operations field sub-disciplines, especially compensation, compliance, leave management, employment benefits law, employee benefits, recruiting platforms, payroll, LTIP, 401k
