How You'll Make an Impact
The Sr. Director of Store Enablement will be a strategic leader focused on efficiencies for how we support our service centers. This role will provide leadership and guidance related to integrating and onboarding new stores, operating expense management, environmental, health and safety (EHS), Help Desk, and overall technical store support. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive optimization strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Leading the New Store Integration team focused on effectively and efficiently onboarding new corporate-owned and franchise service center locations by providing the necessary materials, tools, and support and technical store support.
- Operating expense management involving analysis of costs, identification of opportunities for optimization, and implementation of strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiencies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and implementing best practices for EHS by assessing risk, developing protocols, and promoting a safe working environment for employees.
- Offering leadership to the Emergency Command Center and the Help Desk team, which provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to stores across the US and Canada. Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance internal customer satisfaction.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and sharing knowledge and insights with the organization.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time at its sole discretion.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field
- Experience enabling retail operations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive results
- Strong project management abilities with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in retail and optimization
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
- Ability to adapt to change and navigate through organizational shifts
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
