Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Sales will play a critical role in our company's growth and success. This executive-level position is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading the sales team, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, an in-depth understanding of market trends, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed the company's revenue targets.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve sales objectives. This includes recruiting, training, and mentoring team members.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and understand competitive landscape.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding customer trends and needs.
- Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key sales performance metrics and benchmarks.
- Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate sales reports and revenue forecasts to the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
