Location: Remote 

Join our dynamic team at a leading luxury wine company, where we're committed to redefining the landscape of luxury wine sales within the prestigious hospitality sector across the United States. We're on the lookout for a visionary Luxury Business Unit (BU) Manager, who will spearhead the development and execution of innovative sales programs tailored for top-tier national hotel and restaurant chains. This role is at the heart of our mission, working collaboratively across functions to illuminate opportunities and marshal the resources essential for elevating our distinguished brands.

 

Your role will be multifaceted; from co-managing business planning with our adept customer development directors and account managers to establishing deep, credible relationships with key accounts at both the headquarters and outlet levels. You'll be instrumental in developing and delivering bespoke training programs for our Customer Development On Premise (CDOP) team and key account gatekeepers, ensuring our luxury portfolio is represented with excellence.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of Gallo Winery or distributor sales, luxury sales, or hospitality experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales, luxury sales, or hospitality experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • CSW or equivalent accreditations (i.e., WSET levels 1-4, Sommelier, CSS).
  • Experience in Luxury brand sales.
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
  • Required to travel by air and car for entire US up to 75% of the time in order to conduct job duties.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

Compensation:

 

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $156,240.00 - $260,400.00 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
