Summary of Job Description:
The Sr. Demand Planner is responsible for demand planning related activities to proactively ensure supply stability. This position works with the Supply Chain Sourcing team on the core item forecast model and specific forecast cases to normalize any abnormal supply history. The Sr. Demand Planner collaborates with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Management partners to plan new items, LTOs, and digital campaigns. This position supports Business Analytics leadership to improve the demand planning process, methodology, output, and overall efficiency of all demand planning related activities. The Sr. Demand Planner is part of the Supply Chain transformation journey, working on data analytics and process improvement.
You'll get a chance to:
- Responsible for demand planning related activities to proactively ensure supply stability.
- Work with the Supply Chain Sourcing team on the core item forecast model and specific forecast cases to normalize any abnormal supply history.
- Perform forecasts of the core and new items to support annual/quarterly/monthly contract negotiation activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Management partners to plan new items, LTOs, and digital campaign demand planning, providing actionable data insights to the team.
- Refine demand planning model and methodology to continually improve model accuracy and increase forecast efficiency.
- Refine the self-service forecasting models for 1-3-5 year sourcing strategic plan.
- Propose areas of opportunity in the demand planning process to minimize inefficiency, increase synergies, and streamline standards and processes across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing to build a recipe data base and sustainable maintenance process to improve the efficiency of SCM and demand planning
- Support the development of SCM key indicators and models.
- Set benchmarks and improves the key indicators of demand planning.
- Work with the Sourcing team to refine and launch the RFP analytics model as part of the contract negotiation process.
- Work on ad hoc analyses or projects related to demand planning, forecasting, and upper-stream supply chain planning.

Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance or related field or equivalent experience required
- Minimum five years of supply chain and business analytics experience, preferably in a multi-unit food service organization
- Experience in formula innovation, LTO planning, and automated/digitized menu planning preferred
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
