Successful Civil Engineering/ Land Surveying Company founded in 1986, a leader in the Commercial and Industrial Land Development Sector seeks the following positions: Senior Civil Engineer (P.E.) and Design Engineer.

As aSr. Civil Engineerat Thienes Engineering, you will be responsible for the preparation of grading, street, sewer, water and storm drain plans using the highest standards in the industry while maintaining rigorous client schedules. To help you achieve these goals, you will be supported by a top-notch research team, survey field support staff, and in-house designers. The position will require a working knowledge of the latest WQMP and SWPPP requirements and ability to prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations. The Candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills, possess strong communication skills and encourage teamwork by personal example through hands-on productivity. The candidate should demonstrate the highest levels of organizational abilities, thoroughness, and attention to detail and accuracy.

As an Engineering Designer at Thienes Engineering, you will be responsible for the preparation of grading, street, sewer, water and storm drain plans using the highest standards in the industry while maintaining rigorous client schedules. To help you achieve these goals a top-notch research team will support you, survey field support staff, and in-house designers. The Candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills, possess strong communication skills and encourage teamwork by personal example through hands-on productivity. The candidate should also possess advanced computer skills with AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience and demonstrate the highest levels of organizational abilities, thoroughness, and attention to detail and accuracy.

The successful candidate will not only need the specific skills for the prior mentioned duties, but also have excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills and experience interacting with government officials, developers, and have a professional presence in the field.
