Pay Disclosure
Salary range for California Based Applicants: $135,000-$155,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with vehicle, charging, security, and cloud teams on interoperability.
- Plan integration timelines across different teams and systems.
- Analyze PLC charging communication data and vehicle CAN data.
- Troubleshoot interoperability issues on L1, L2, and DCFC.
- Develop and maintain validation plan for interoperability testing.
- Develop and organize interoperability and PKI technical requirements for our systems.
- Develop and track system attributes and targets.
- Execute development testing cross-functionally.
- Participate at Charging Interoperability testing symposiums.
- Participate in SAE and charging consortiums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 2-4 years of interoperability experience in electric vehicle charging, with a focus on charging systems, communication, and security.
- Deep understanding of charging communication standards as described in J1772, DIN70121, ISO15118-2/-20, OCPP 1.6/2.0
- Experience with CAN and PLC sniffing tools
- Experience with different PKI structures and implementations
- Experience with agile project management and documentation tools (Jira and Confluence preferred)
