Job description
An employer in Orlando is looking for a senior auditor. In this role, you will be working heavily with non-profit and/or state and local government customers to help plan, execute, and prepare financial statements and audits. You will be working with a team of 14 accountants and be responsible for reviewing, planning, budgeting, and assigning work to the members of the team to ensure that the clients expectations are being met. You will need to have proficiency in the full life cycle of auditing and have public accounting experience. This role will require you to travel 10-15% of the year, and they are willing to assist in obtaining your CPA license.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of auditing experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or relevant degree with Masters in Accounting)
Experience with non-profit or state/local government clients
Proficient in the financial report and auditing best practices
Supervisor/financial report reviewing experience
Experience being involved in the full life cycle of the audit process
Willing to travel 10-15% of the time
