Temporary with the possibility of a permanent position
Alachua, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F, 8am - 5pm
Salary: $30 - $35/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections
- Prepare and process general ledger transactions and journal entries
- General Ledger account reconciliation
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and debit notes issuance
- Oversee payment processes and routines performed by the Shared Service Center in Mexico
- Conduct monthly closings and produces financial statements
- Manage financial reports in compliance
- Prepare management reports as directed
- Support the financial forecasting process within the PU
- Implement projects within the financial accounting or financial reporting area
- Demonstrate respect and commitment to the IMS System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018) taking accountability for its effectiveness and continual improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Detail oriented and work well under pressure

Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in accounting or in finance with an accounting background
- 3+ years staff accounting in a manufacturing business with cost accounting responsibilities
- Must have knowledge of financial statements, the ability to investigate problems and make corrections, and address inconsistencies in entries, documents, and reports
- Knowledge of accounting and manufacturing accounting standards and the software that reports the financial statement
