Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for working with our vendors to ensure timely payments and vendors satisfaction. There are multiple opportunities to learn and grow as we are a part of shared services environment.
This position is part of the Sciex Americas Accounting department and will be in Redwood City California. We are a hybrid team and are together in the office 3 days a week.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Reconcile outstanding Aged Items, Credits, and RNI
• Work with Purchasing to resolve issues promptly and document accurately
• Assist in month end close with monthly accruals

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5+ Years of specialized Accounts Payable experience

• Detail oriented, professional attitude, and well organized
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Oracle 12 is a plus

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Oracle 12 is a plus

• Understanding of tax requirements

The hourly range for this role is $26.20 to $32.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
